We are extremely happy to announce the return of a [BBC] original!
Balle was one of the founder members of the [BBC] back in 2005 and played over 40 matches for us before moving on in 2006.
After spending more and more time online recently whilst onshore he began thinking once again about joining a clan. A regular visitor to our server in both BAS and S&D mode and on our Vent server too in recent weeks, returning to the [BBC] was a natural first choice. After the topic came up in discussion, the membership vote was a mere formality.
The Norseman is softly spoken and cool under pressure. Balle brings with him a calming influence, a good sense of humour, and years of experience in UO and Base Assault.
But most of all, Balle is a returning friend.
Welcome home [BBC]Balle
We are currently on the lookout for mature, dedicated, quality players with a good sense of humour. Check out our recruitment article and our Code of Conduct topic for more information.

[BBC] are happy to announce the latest addition to our group - [BBC]We Lucky Few.
Hailing from the Rep. of Ireland, 'Lucky' has a history in CTF dating back 3 years or so, and has a penchant for BAS. It was whilst he was playing on various public BAS servers that he caught the eye of a few [BBC] members. That recommendation led to a forum visit and an exchange of PM's. Before we knew it, our Vent channel was filled with the dulcet tones of the southern Irishman, whilst the server reverberated to the sound of the main gun on his tank and the report of his rifle! With his laid-back attitude, dead-pan humour, and thoughtful style of play, we were satisfied that we had found a good addition to our squad.
Welcome [BBC]We Lucky Few

There is a new dawn at the [BBC]
With old values and a new outlook we are looking to recruit players for UO and CoD4 specifically but if you fancy a bit of Team Fortress 2, poker and some smash-up racing too, then we could be the clan for you!
UO Base Assault is where [BBC] was born and is where our heart still lies. In 2008 however we have taken part in two UO S&D leagues and have started playing more CoD4 friendlies. We'll also be taking a good look at Battlefield Heroes when that comes out later this year (the intended Summer launch has been delayed) and of course Call of Duty: World at War.
As our clan name might suggest, the higher percentage of our members are British but we have a multi-national flavour currently representing Poland, Finland, USA, Austria, The Netherlands, Germany, Norway, and Ireland. [BBC] has had an over 30's policy in place since 2005 which has resulted in us collecting a bunch of mature, friendly, and easy-going members. Some of our mob are in their 20's however and as a result we have come to appreciate a hint of youth amongst us.
We are looking for over 25's this time around.

Players from any country are welcome to apply however you must be able to speak fluent English. On a skill level we are looking for players who are at a good standard with map and objective awareness, and of course who can shoot straight. You should be playing for at least 5 hours a week, excluding beery Friday nights and weekends which are compulsory , and have a working mic with Ventrilo installed.

We are as much an online social club as we are a competitive team and having the personality that fits in with the group is the most important thing we are looking for in a new member. With that said, of course we like a good fight. Our competitive history is very good indeed and whilst we play for fun most of the time, in matches we play to win!

To get a feel for our sense of humour and what our Vent channel is like, head over to the Recordings section.
If all of this sounds like it might suit you, here's what you should do. Join our S&D/Base Assault/CoD4 server when you have some free time. If you like the style of play, (or we know you already) jump on Ventrilo, (see the IP at the bottom of the page) and come and say hello. Some of our Vent channels are for clan members only and some of our guys will be busy doing other things, so don't get upset if nobody comes to see you immediately or if you don't get dragged to another room the moment you arrive.

The recruitment process is very unofficial. Join a server and vent and we'll get to know you, and vice versa. If after a week or so you are still interested in joining, let us know and provided we are interested in you, we'll start the internal decision making process. That can take a couple of weeks to give everyone a chance to meet you etc.
We'll let you know whether or not your application was successful once that process has been completed.
If your application is not accepted we'll tell you as well of course, however you won't be given the reasons for our decision as we consider that an internal affair. At this stage, in fact at any stage if our members have an objection, an applicant may be asked not to join our Ventrilo channel.
We have a one time only joining fee of £15, after that all donations are entirely voluntary. For a few more details regarding various policies and expectations we have of our members head over here:
BBC Code of Conduct
So that's it, all our cards are on the table, all you have to do is show us your hand.

Here at the [BBC] we like to take a step back from multiplayer gaming from time to time and get immersed in a different kind of gaming experience, one that can be found in the world of online casino gaming...and beyond.
Las Vegas and the concept of online casino gaming may seem world's apart, but the two have some remarkable similarities. Not least, the fact that both have become gambling meccas and literally emerged from nothing, to quickly become world famous casino destinations. However, for many gamers and thrill seekers – a visit to Las Vegas remains a dream trip.
If you get there, the chances are you'll want to do Vegas the right way – in which case you'll want to a stay with at least a little bit of luxury and maybe some fantasy thrown in for good measure. For that you have casino resorts, such as MGM Grand, Caesar’s Palace and other venues made famous by million dollar casino wins and Hollywood Movies like Oceans 11 or Casino. Hire a Limo or grab a cab and tour the Vegas Strip – then head Downtown to sample the hardcore action.
Naturally, the real Vegas buzz is the magnificent casino gaming – and it's said you're never more than 2 metres away from a slot machine once you enter Vegas! If the hundreds of slots at the airport are anything to go by – it's no exaggeration! Unless you've visited Vegas already, there's simply no way to imagine the opulence and magic of hitting the casino tables – with a seemingly endless sea of roulette wheels, blackjack and poker tables, slots, neon video poker and every casino game in existence! It's also first-class treatment all the way – with free drinks the order of the day and the chance to feel like a movie star.
Visiting Las Vegas is a truly once in a life time experience, so keep saving those pennies – On the other hand if you are in the market for a new motherboard and you buy a Quantum Force one from the link below...you could win a trip to the Computer Entertainment show....in Vegas, Baby!
