About the UO Server Stats
[BBC] are first and foremost a Base Assault clan, however we also enjoy playing other game types particularly S&D. The two game types return very different ratios per map when it comes to generating statistics. With that in mind we have separated the two sets of stats to give anyone who is interested a much clearer picture of their game.
A few words about the UO statistics from the [BBC] Server
As with all stats, the more quality input you have the more likely you are to show good results.
The detailed stats we use can show a clear comparison but are still weighted towards those with more data. The more time you play, the more statistics you have, the higher up you will go. You still have to be quite good of course.
In our server statistics, some data has more meaning than others and only a few can really be used to sort the columns with any relevance.
The kills & deaths will move up the more you play.
The ratio is a fairly good indicator of frag performance but it's subjective to the individuals playing style. For instance a defender in a Heavy will likely die far less then an attacker in a tank or on foot.
The score is simply Kill minus Death.
The rounds played are an important factor in stats calculation but sorting the data by it doesn't show much except who puts the hours in. Bear in mind that base rounds are a maximum of 45mins and s&d rounds are a maximum of 3mins.
The streaks are a nice aside but would favour a heavy/tank/88 operator on our BAS server.
Finally there is the ever-contentious 'skill' rating. Here each weapon is given a weighting based on how easy it is perceived to kill someone with. There is a long and drawn out argument over why a rifle earns more points than an smg and a users fundamental choice of weapon alone can affect the skill rating. A good rifler will never be caught by an smg'er in 'skills' stats such as these with all other things being equal. Base Assault is an Objective led game type and as such achieving objectives score highly. That means planting and defusing earn you serious skill points.
The stats that really mean something are those for the individual players.
Simply from the weapons they use, and those they don't, you can get a feel for a persons playing style. Objective data is also very telling.
Remember stats are just a bit of fun, don't let them rule your game-playing life. COD/UO logging inconsistencies are relatively common and no stats can be produced that are 100% accurate. However, if there is a gap in your skills, this is a good way to identify it and monitor your improvement.
Stats combining won't occur in our server so make sure you use exactly the same name every time you join so that all your details are logged to you.
Virtually every category has its own detail. Click on any weapon, map, kill-location, objective, or person and you will get a list of sub-stats.
There is something here for everyone.
